Why Bullio exists
Spreadsheets aren't a portfolio tracker.
Existing apps treat physical metals like digital tickers. No proper lot pooling. No purity-aware weight maths. No realised P&L. Most send your data to servers you've never heard of.
Bullio is built by a stacker, for stackers. Your portfolio lives in a local SQLite database on your phone. Our server exists for one purpose: to cache spot prices. It never sees your holdings.

Bullio's backend does two things: serve spot prices and validate your subscription. That is all it does.
No account required in v1.0. There is nothing to sign up for and nothing to breach.
All financial data — holdings, transactions, realised P&L — lives in a SQLite database on your phone.
The Metals.Dev API key lives on our server.
Your app never sees it.
Security
Your stack stays yours.
Your data is encrypted on your device. Only you hold the key — we can't read it, and neither can anyone else without it.
Add an optional passphrase for a second layer only you know. There is no backdoor and no recovery path.
Backups are zero-knowledge: encrypted with your passphrase before they leave your device. Even Bullio cannot read a backup file.
